Start your te reo journey by learning Māori language and customs in this FREE introductory 9 week course at the Bayview Community Centre.
Join Mātua Mark and Katene Snowden as they use our local Bayview environment to teach basic language phrases you can use in your workplace, home and community. With over twenty years of teaching and immersion in te reo between them, we're thrilled to welcome these two former Bayviewians back to the fold.
In this 9 week course you will:
- hear and learn traditional knowledge about our wonderful commUNITY
- learn basic language phrases to use in your workplace, home and community
- further your understanding of tikanga
- develop your confidence in using te reo in your everyday life
- share the journey with like-minded learners.
