Calling all witches, warlocks, and magical water lovers! Join us on Halloween morning for our spooky annual Witches Paddle at The Cove in Farragut. We’re trading our flying brooms for paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes to float into Halloween in style!
Whether you’re a seasoned paddle pro or just looking for a hauntingly good time on the water, all witches, warlocks (and their floating pets or ghoul crew) are welcome.

When: Saturday, October 31st at 11:00 AM
Where: The Cove at Concord Park (Farragut / Knoxville) 11808 S Northshore Dr, Knoxville, TN 37922
Cost: FREE to participate!
Vessels Welcome: SUPs, Kayaks, Canoes, Inflatables—if it floats and supports a witch, bring it!
🎃 What to Expect
Costume Contest Vibes: Dress in your finest witchy attire! Black robes, tall hats, striped socks, and spellbinding accessories are highly encouraged. (Just make sure your outfit is safe to paddle in!)
Group Float & Photo Ops: We’ll launch together at 11:00 AM for a relaxed, festive float along the water. Prepare for plenty of group photos and epic photo ops. Set up starts at 10:00 AM. We will all enter the water after a speech from the organizers, Brianna and Madison.
Good Spirits & Community: A fun, laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere to kick off your Halloween day with local friends and fellow outdoor lovers.
📜 Witchy Safety Rules & Guidelines
Bring Your Own Vessel & Gear: No rentals are provided at the site (There may be rentals, but we do not know if they will be open. Contact the park for info), so bring your board/boat, paddle, and gear.
Safety First: PFDs (Lifejackets) are required by law for all participants—make sure to bring one! Sound-signaling devices (whistles) are also recommended.
Dress Appropriately: Water temperatures in late October can be chilly! Layer up underneath your witchy garb and bring a dry change of clothes just in case.
Leave No Trace: Let’s keep our local waterways clean and beautiful! Pack out all trash and costume debris.
