Have you heard about the Knox Farm? Join Tina Hope, Director of Knox farm and Sustainability & Resiliency Initiatives at Knox College, and students for a tour of the on-campus student-powered urban farm that provides hands-on learning experiences. The one-acre space includes two high tunnels, outdoor gardens, and a biodiverse landscape of edible and medicinal plants.
The farm is located at 422 South Academy Street.
This is a Community Read event. The Community Read this year is focused on the book Bite by Bite: Nourishments and Jamborees by Aimee Nezhukumatathil, and is sponsored by the Galesburg Public Library Foundation.
