About KnowledgeFest

An ongoing festival approach with an arts & culture emphasis presented by Arizona Informant Foundation. It is rooted in the proverb: "When he who does not know learns, he gets to know," which is symbolized by the Adinkra symbol Nea Onnim.

Arizona Informant Foundation (AZIF) - the nonprofit arm of Arizona Informant Newspaper, the state's longest and oldest weekly publication - was founded in 2001, with the mission to provide and to develop valuable resources, educational opportunities and purposeful platforms that build healthy Black and African-American communities and, ultimately, a healthier Arizona. The mantra of the organization is: "Be Informed." AZIF provides culturally enriching events and programs and is committed to supporting Black and African-American artists. The arts provide us the opportunity to enhance our quality of life as well as to challenge how we will share our culture.
