This will be our 4th Annual Autism Rocks and Rolls GALA! This time, we’re making our Autism GALA even more special. We’re expecting over 200 to attend again and we’re so excited to offer speakers, experts, table discussions, a silent auction, raffles, vendors, and food. We will have a speaker flying in from Georgia, Samuel Hutchins. Mr. Hutchins runs a nonprofit foundation called Hope for Xavier. Xavier, Mr. Hutchins' son, had autism and the work that Mr. Hutchins and Xavier have done and are still doing is phenomenal. Unfortunately, very recently, Mr. Hutchins lost his 19 year old son, Xavier, after he had a seizure. We are inspired by the strength of Mr. Hutchins to continue the nonprofit so that his son can live through the work he will continue to do.
Our theme this year is Knowledge is Power. We are furthering our mission of destigmatizing autism and showcasing what those on the autism spectrum CAN do. Part of the gala will consist of 2 30 minute table discussions aligned with table captains. These individuals will be leaders at our gala and in the community. We want to give those on the spectrum a chance to shine in a discussion format. Along with the perks of the gala, there will also be time that is structured where we can learn from one another and we can’t wait!
Please share out. We hope you can make it!
