Join us for the launch of the Knowledge Exchange Series from the Knowledge Development Committee of the Worshipful Company of Marketors.

This inaugural event, set against the familiar Hollywood backdrop of Senate House, University London, promises a viceral debate on one the most hotly billed topics in marketing today: Brand.

In a business environment shaped by performance pressure, AI disruption and evolving trust dynamics, organisations are re-examining the role brand plays in building long-term value, resilience and sustainable growth and delivering competitive advantage.

Designed as a vibrant forum for insight, challenge and professional discussion, the Knowledge Exchange Series supports the Marketor community by promoting Excellence in Marketing through thought leadership, dialogue and peer-to-peer learning.

In trully inclusive fashion, this event has a limited number of tickets available to the general public.

To encourage meaningful discussion and interaction, places are limited to 50 attendees.

This expert panel discussion will explore how brand is evolving in an increasingly complex and fast-moving environment and how it can be best utilised to drive trust and deliver commercial impact. Critically we’ll discuss what this means for marketing and business leaders today.

Topics discussed will include:

• The balance between brand building and performance marketing

• The impact of AI on brand authenticity and trust

• The shifting relationship between personal brands and corporate brands

• Brand as a strategic asset driving growth and enterprise value

• The continued importance of the human brand marketer and the role of emotion in building meaningful brands


The Panel

The discussion will be moderated by Jarmila Yu - Founder and Consulting Chief Marketing Officer, YUnique Marketing Ltd, Liveryman and Court Assistant at the Worshipful Company of Marketors, and Chair of the Knowledge Development Committee.

She will be joined by a distinguished panel bringing perspectives from business, academia and the marketing profession:

• Darren Coleman – Founder of The British Institute of Branding and Author of Building Brand Experiences

• Christian Gladwell – Senior Director Strategy & Partnerships at Sabio.

• Jo Pinson – Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing, Royal Holloway, University of London

• John Jeffcock – Chief Executive, Winmark and author of The Suite Spot, and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors

• Kate Burnett – General Manager, People & Talent, Data & Marketing Association

The discussion will conclude with a summary and vote of thanks from Omaid Hiwaizi - Founder and Fractional CMO, Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, and Deputy Chair of the Knowledge Development Committee.
