Know Your Rights: Community PresentationJoin us for an important “Know Your Rights” presentation organized in collaboration with Masjid Abu Bakar and the Bangladesh Association of Phoenix (BAP).
This informative session will be presented by Attorney Martín Quezada, who will discuss important legal rights and practical steps our community should know, especially regarding immigration and interactions with law enforcement.
Topics will include:
• What kind of warrant ICE needs to enter a house or mosque
• How to prepare a safety plan in case of an ICE raid
• Understanding your constitutional rights
• What to do if approached by immigration officers
This is a valuable opportunity for community members to learn, ask questions, and stay informed.
