As-Salamu-Alaikum,Join us Saturday, October 25th, from 6–8 PM at the Joliet Islamic Center for a Dinner and Know Your Rights Workshop, hosted in collaboration with the Maze of Life Resource Center, the Southwest Suburban Immigrant Project (SSIP), and led by local community volunteers trained by SSIP.
Learn about your rights in your home, at work, and while driving. This workshop will also help you understand what to do if you or a loved one are ever detained, and how to take informed action to protect your family and community. Dinner will be provided for all attendees.
