Students will learn to cast on and knit a beautiful triangular shawl. This is a good beginner class to learn to start the project, learn the knit (garter) stitch, add stitches, and then finally cast off.

You can choose to do this shawl in one color or learn to change colors to have a striped look. You will need about 600 yards of worsted (size 4) yarn and a 32" circular needle in US #9 (5.5 mm).

THIS IS A TWO-PART CLASS
08/08--Start the shawl
08/22--Finishing!
