This workshop teaches the new fiber artist the basic steps of knitting. We begin with a brief overview of this ancient fiber art and the first two steps: casting on and the knit stitch. Then, we continue with practicing the purl stitch and binding off. All fiber artists will leave with a swatch and the knowledge of the knitting essentials for most projects.
