Learn how to work up these fun, fingerless mittens using what we’re calling the “tube method.” Tasha designed the Block Party Fingerless Mitts to show just how easy it is to create two mitts from one continuous tube—no juggling multiple pieces required! This is also a fantastic class for anyone looking to dip their toes into color work for the first time. The technique is approachable, intuitive, and surprisingly fun. Tasha will be demonstrating using two circular needles, but students are encouraged to use whatever method they’re most comfortable with—magic loop or double-pointed needles are both welcome.
Materials: 1 skein each of Worsted weight yarn in a main color and contrasting color. Size 7 or 8 needles, depending on personal gauge. Two day class, Fridays February 13th & 20th, or Saturdays February 14th and 21st. 12:30-2:30. Call the shop to register. $45 + materials.
