Knit & Crochet: Ugly Christmas Scarf Workshop

Get into the holiday spirit with a special Crochet Club x Knit With Us collaboration! 🎄🧶 We’re inviting all crocheters and knitters—whether you're a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner—to join us for a fun and festive Ugly Christmas Scarf Making workshop.

This unique, two-part session is part of our Upcycled Fashions Project, where we’ll be providing eco-friendly yarns made from recycled materials to craft your one-of-a-kind holiday scarf. Feel free to bring your own yarn, tools, and accessories, or use the supplies we’ll have on hand.

Session 1: Tapestry Crochet (11 AM – 2 PM)Learn the basics of tapestry crochet to create your own Christmas-inspired scarf with the help of an experienced instructor. Add your personal flair to make it truly unique!

Session 2: Knitting (3 PM – 6 PM)Try your hand at knitting with guidance from a seasoned knitting teacher. Create a funky, one-of-a-kind scarf to keep cosy and festive throughout the holiday season.

🎨 How to Enter: Submit your unique (and uniquely ugly!) scarf design by 20th December 2024.

👥 Voting: The public will cast their votes online and in person at The Crafted Corner.

🏆 Grand Prize: The scarf crowned the "Ugliest of Them All" will be announced at our Christmas Showcase on 21st December 2024, with the winner taking home a prize worth £100
