UNITED brings together 37 patient associations across Italy, representing individuals living with thalassaemia and other rare haemoglobinopathies, as well as their families. Through their unwavering commitment, UNITED gives a powerful voice to patient needs, advocates for equitable access to care, and supports initiatives that improve quality of life across the Italian healthcare ecosystem.
Their work embodies the very spirit of Knights for Rare – dedication, advocacy, and impact for those living with rare diseases.
