Welcome to the event page for the 2022 Warhammer Prescott K*ll Team campaign!This event will last from Saturday Oct 1st - Saturday November 12th!
----------WHAT IS THIS?----------
This is an organized play Narrative Campaign for K*ll Team: Into The Dark! It is free to participate!
----------WHAT DO I NEED?-----------
You will need the following in order to participate in this event.
1) A K*ll Team painted to "Battle Ready" standards. If you are unfamiliar with what "Battle Ready" means, please contact the store manager for information or help on getting your team ready!
2) The official rules for your chosen K*ll Team and the tools needed in order to play the game K*ll Team: Into the Dark (Measuring devices, dice, barricades, tokens etc...) If you do not have these things, they will be available to purchase at the shop! You DO NOT need to own the Into the Dark box or rulebook, just a K*ll Team and their valid rules. (See FAQ below)
3) A roster for your K*ll Team for the campaign. You can find an easy-to-use roster to export here: https://www.warhammer-community.com/commandroster/
---------HOW WILL THIS WORK?---------
Each week, on Saturday, a new mission will be available to play in the shop, starting on Saturday Oct 1st. Bring your K*ll Team, your rules, and your roster to the store to play a game with an opponent. You can bring your own friends to play with or look for someone in the shop/community! The store will have a K*ll Team each week standing by if you cannot find an opponent for that week. If you cannot make it on a certain week, make up games WILL BE allowed, but you will not be eligible to play the current mission until past missions are completed.
There will be 4 narrative missions to play through in which you will earn requisition points/equipment/experience etc... for your K*ll Team. The store manager, Chris, will help you with how all of this works, so don't worry! You ARE expected to have your updated roster with you each week, if you do not, you will not be able to play that week's mission. When you participate in your first mission, you will be given a free reward!
After 4 weeks of narrative missions, you can optionally participate in the Narrative Tournament on Saturday November 12th! This will be an open tournament that can be played anytime all day. You will need to play 3 missions on this day (Roughly an hour per mission) in which your total Victory Points between all three will be calculated and turned in at the end of the day. This tournament will have a trophy available to the winner!
---------- FAQ ----------
1) Do I need to play in the store?
Yes. This is an ongoing, in store event. Games played outside the store will not count towards your campaign progress.
2) Will boards/terrain be provided?
Yes. Everything to play the current weekly mission will be in store for you to use! Space IS limited, so check with the shop before you play.
3) Can I use un-official rules or proxy models?
No. Proxy models and un-official rulesets (I.E. Battle scribe etc... even if it is up to date) will not be useable. There are free prizes, rewards, awards, etc... to be earned, so out of respect for your opponents and the game, everyone will need their own Games Workshop official models and rules in order to participate. If your rules are available to download for free from Warhammer Community (I.E. Space Marine Intercessors) then that will absolutely be allowed. If you are unsure about any of your rules, models, etc... then please ask the Event Coordinator, Chris.
4) Does my K*ll Team HAVE to be painted?
You can play the missions with an unpainted team however you will not be eligible for any of the rewards during the campaign and you will be ineligible to participate in the tournament on Nov 12th. A painted team will receive 2 victory points at the end of each game. This way you can play just for fun, we don't want to exclude anyone from just playing and having a good time! If you are worried about painting or need any help, just ask! I am happy to help get some color on your models with you!
