In his iconic Ludwig van, Mauricio Kagel playfully and provocatively reimagines the rituals surrounding Beethoven and the classical concert itself. Rather than celebrating tradition unquestioningly, Kagel invites us to look at it from a fresh perspective.
Music merges with gesture, theatre and unexpected situations, creating a performance that is humorous, intelligent and continually surprising.
Presented at Theatre X10, whose intimate setting encourages close interaction between performers and audience, the work finds an ideal theatrical environment.
The Klang Systematiek Autumn Season 2026 concludes with an evening reminding us that a concert can be an experience, a question and a game all at once.
