Kizomba Ladies Styling — 4 Week Course
Step into your confidence, elegance and expression with our Kizomba Ladies Styling 4 Week Course with Dee, Mel & Nadine.
This is not just a choreography course.
This course has been created with a more holistic approach to ladies' styling — one that recognises that your health, strength, confidence and mental wellbeing all play an important role in how freely and fully you are able to express yourself through movement.
Across 4 weeks, we will explore Kizomba styling, body awareness, musicality, posture, transitions and movement technique. Beyond the dance itself, each week will also feature a health professional from different fields, sharing practical tools and tips to help you better understand your body, work with your muscles, improve strength, support mobility and develop flexibility safely and sustainably. We will also delve into different genres, rhythms and the history behind Kizomba as a dance style and musical genre.
This course is about more than learning steps. It is about building confidence, discovering your own movement, understanding your body, and creating a supportive space where women can learn, grow and connect.
Participants will also have the optional opportunity to perform with the team at the AfroDisiac Open Day on Saturday, 15 August. This performance is completely optional and is designed to give those who feel ready a chance to celebrate what they have learned in a supportive community environment.
