Important Announcement!Beginning in May Tango Fusion will be offered consistently on 1st & 3rd Sundays. On 2nd & 4th we will experiment with pop-up dances focusing on other genres.
Tonight we offer an example of one of our pop-up dances that will start with a one-hour lesson in Kizomba followed by two hours of 'kizomba-fusion'. Class will be taught by Eytan & Megan, who are respected teachers in Seattle's Kizomba scene. The DJ tonight is Yawo who is a favorite among dancers. There will also be a contingent of Kizomba dancers from the Seattle network, many of whom have never been to OmCulture. Let's give them all a warm welcome.
To our beautiful and adventurous Sunday evening regulars, Kizomba is a sensuous, rhythmically driven groove with sultry melodies. This is perfect fusion dancing music, especially tango. Please come out and partake in this mixing of communities in the OmCulture cauldren of dance energy.
Because we are offering a full hour class, our pricing will be as follows:
Class only $10
Dance only $15
Both $20
Includes snacks and wine bar
Cash or Venmo at door
Flow of the evening:
6:45 Doors open
7:00 Class begins
8:00 Dance begins
10:00 Dance ends (DJ has flexibility to extend as desired)
