I have been teaching kizomba for over twelve years now and am passionate about tradition and music. My passion has taken me to places like Angola and Cuba a few times. I teach twice weekly in Lancashire.
You may also had the joy of Abigail in Derby at The Cube or The Rolls Royce where she is a guest teacher on a regular basis, so you’ll know what a fabulous lessons she gives and we can’t wait for Abigail to join us again at the Kizomba CoOp as this is not the first time she has taught and DJ’d for us.

Sean Wilson, known as DJ Britânico, is a Kizomba, PALOP and world music DJ, dance teacher and event promoter based between Lisbon, Portugal, and Manchester, UK. He discovered his passion for PALOP music in his teenage years and began organising Kizomba and PALOP events in 2011 before launching his DJ career in 2013.
Sean is the resident DJ at the renowned Blackpool Tower Ballroom and regularly performs at major festivals and events across the UK, Portugal and Africa, sharing line-ups with internationally acclaimed artists including Nelson Freitas, Yuri da Cunha and Afro B.
He became the first British Kizomba and PALOP DJ to perform regularly in Africa, including becoming the first international DJ to perform at Kizomba na Rua in Luanda, Angola. He has also performed at prestigious venues including Switch Super Club in Luanda, Caravela in Mindelo, São Vicente, and Planeta Club in Boa Vista, Cabo Verde.
In 2025, Sean also performed at the Brazilian Carnival in São Paulo alongside internationally renowned Afrobeats artist Afro B.
Known for his deep musical knowledge, energetic performances and authentic connection to PALOP culture, Sean continues to build a reputation as one of the leading international DJs in the Kizomba and PALOP scene.

The club have a hot drinks machine located in the corridor between the bars. Please note that the club will NOT allow anyone to bring their own drinks in. It is important that we support the bar in order to keep this wonderful venue, we would appreciate your support in this.
