Celebrate the Totally Awesome 80’s with us! Laughter really is the best medicine! Bring the entire family for an evening of ridiculous illicit escapades presented by your favorite Kiwanis Club of Lapeer members who will be showcasing their hidden musical, comedic and acting skills.There will be a prize for the best dressed each night - be sure to wear your greatest 80’s apparel!!
The 80’s were perhaps the last great generation. We had the best TV shows like Married with Children, Family Ties, The Simpsons, and Cheers. We had the best music groups like Huey Lewis and the News, Michael Jackson, Journey, and Weird Al Yankovic. But there was nothing like 80’s movies such as Space Balls, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Superman, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, and Top Gun. Time passes by so quickly. Can you imagine, it has been 39 years since Back to the Future came out? Ronald Reagan was president and we were living in the decade of “excess,” and MTV had the coolest music videos!

This year's show is directed by Gary Tong. All proceeds from this event will benefit the children of Lapeer County and the Kiwanis Inclusive Playground.
