We are thrilled to welcome guest speaker, Heather O'Keefe, Founder and Executive Director of StepStones for Youth, as one of our valued Community Partners.

StepStones is a Toronto charity dedicated to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and youth in and from foster care. Under Heather's leadership since 2004, the organization has achieved proven success in increasing employment, educational attainment, and support networks while reducing homelessness and isolation.

Heather’s expertise in child welfare and innovative approaches to supporting youth have earned StepStones numerous awards, including a Toronto Community Champion Award in 2024 and recognition as a Top 100 national charity.

StepStones for Youth, has been a close and trusted partner of the Kiwanis Club of Toronto. Together, we’ve built a strong partnership dedicated to serving children and youth in Toronto, creating volunteer opportunities, and transforming lives in our community.
