In this class you will be making a custom kitchen knife like no other and a beautiful cutting board to go along with it to take home. The chefs knife measures 13-1/2" long from tip to butt and 2" tall. Machined from top-quality AUS-10 Japanese steel hardened to HRC 57-59. Your cutting board includes a variety of species of wood. Topics covered are knife hardware kits, components and accessories, sawing and sanding custom wooden scales, drilling techniques, gluing, clamping and assembly techniques as well as finishing. There is a 30 minute lunch break. Close toed shoes required. Attendees will recieve a 15% coupon to use for in store shopping day of the class. Some restrictions apply.
