Traditional etching is an intaglio printmaking process in which lines or areas are incised using acid into a metal plate to hold the ink.However, at this workshop we will be using products that you can find around your house or drug store, such as vinegar and salt instead of acid to create your image. You will learn how to create perfectly etched metal plates in a nontoxic way!
