KITCHEN CONFIDENCE FOR YOUTH WITH VISION LOSS
Does your child or young adult with vision loss want to feel more confident and independent in the kitchen? This FREE two-part workshop is designed to help families create a **safe, accessible, and inclusive kitchen** where everyone can cook with confidence!
� **What participants will learn:**
• Safe cooking techniques for vision loss
• Measuring, cutting & heat safety
• Kitchen organization and labeling strategies
• How to use adaptive culinary tools
• Skills that build independence and confidence
� **Led by Chef Debra Erickson**, Founder of The Blind Kitchen, the workshop includes hands-on instruction, demonstrations, discussion, and practical strategies for all ability levels.
� **Each student will receive adaptive cooking tools to take home!**
� Snacks will also be provided.
