This hands-on science class introduces students to foundational chemistry concepts through safe, guided experiments using everyday household materials. Students will explore how and why substances change when mixed, heated, cooled, or combined in a structured, age-appropriate learning environment.
Throughout the course, students will investigate basic science concepts such as chemical reactions, states of matter, mixtures, and physical changes. Each session includes step-by-step experiments where students make predictions, observe results, and discuss what they discover.
Students will build scientific thinking skills by testing ideas, recording observations, and learning how chemistry connects to everyday life through simple, engaging experiments. Activities are designed to encourage curiosity while reinforcing observation, prediction, and cause-and-effect reasoning.
This is a structured instructional science class focused on foundational chemistry concepts and hands-on experimentation.
All materials are provided and all activities are fully supervised for safety.
