Ustad Shahbaz Hussain is a renowned tabla artist known for uniquely blending the styles of his three Ustads: Ustad Faiyaz Khan of the Delhi Gharana, Ustad Miyan Shaukat Hussain Khan of the Punjab and Delhi Gharanas, and Ustad Allah Rakha of the Punjab Gharana. The imprint of his teachers can be heard in Ustad Shahbaz Hussain's dynamic playing style. The delicateness of his Delhi influence is punctuated by the confrontational pakhawaj bols of Punjab.Ustad Shahbaz Hussain's accompaniment displays his mastery of aesthetics, providing singers and instrumentalists and elegant boost to their performances. His solo tabla boasts a longstanding repertoire. With his command of both classical and light classical genres, he effortlessly blends traditional and contemporary music, making his Tabla unmistakable.
Pandit Arnab Chakrabarty, born in 1980, is a leading sarod artist known for his emotive virtuosity, cerebral approach, and deep commitment to Hindustani classical music. Trained by prominent figures of the Shahjahanpur Gharana, he embodies a profound understanding of raga traditions, bringing a calm, melodious style to his performances. With over 35 years of musical study and 20 years of professional experience, Chakrabarty has performed in nearly 1,000 concerts across 34 countries. His work includes a solo album, *Cat's Cradle*, and involvement in notable projects like the film *The Disciple* and the Oscar-winning *Born Into Brothels*. An erudite musician, he continues to preserve and advance the art form through performances, teaching, and writing.
Ustad Sukhvinder Singh Pinky is one of India's most dynamic and versatile percussionists, renowned for his mastery of the tabla and jori. Born in the holy village of Sri Bhaini Sahib in Punjab, Sukhvinder began his musical journey with Baba Nihal Singh, playing the jori within the Namdhari Sangeet tradition. His prodigious talent led him to Varanasi, where he spent eighteen years in intense training under the legendary Pandit Kishan Maharaj of the Benares gharana. Ustadji's powerful and spontaneous performances have made him a sought-after accompanis and his exceptional jori playing has garnered international acclaim, with Ustad Zakir Hussain recognizing him as the foremost jori exponent worldwide.
