Kirtan is all about community! It is a coming together of people to raise our voices and get swept up in the rhythm and the ecstatic energy of the chanting. As we sing together we express our deep love for the Divine presence in, through and AS us! Please join us, no experience necessary.
We are offering traditional kirtan in the simple call and response style of chanting ancient and blissful mantras. The mantras are set to live music played on traditional Indian instruments and the easy to follow lyrics are led by Janaki on Harmonium, accompanied by Steve Bross on Tablas and Ky on Kartals. This is a group practice NOT a performance!
** Traditional floor seating is available as well as chairs. Please bring a cushion if desired. Tea and fellowship to follow the event (bring a mug if you can).
This will likely sell out, please get your tickets as soon as possible. Every person in attendance, regardless of age, must purchase a ticket. Event held at our APPLEWOOD location (map).
ONLY 40 SEATS AVAILABLE, No Extra Seats can be added.
There are no refunds on event tickets. If you need to cancel your reservation, you will be given store credit.
