Shanti (Wendy) Warnimont of Ananda Lila Kirtan is a meditation guide and shamanic practitioner weaving sacred chant and mantra with mindful music and movement for more than 30 years. Shanti is the founder of Ananda Lila Kirtan. Ananda Lila Kirtan is a world music ensemble blending chanting and music with ritual and meditation for transformation and freedom since 2010. As a family of musicians Ananda Lila loves to weave ancient chants from different traditions with newly birthed sacred songs. Ananda Lila features eclectic organic sound blending accordion harp world music rhythms transcendent voices and ambient gong and soundscapes creating a fusion of East & West with Eastern European and Middle Eastern grooves meeting ambient and folk flavors. Ananda Lila has shared experiences with: Kirtan Festival Milwaukee Midwest Yoga and Kirtan Fest The Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple Yoga Now Chicago Yogaview Ahimsa Yoga Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center Unity Church The Theosophical Society Vedanta Center of Chicago Flower of Life Yoga Oneness Festival.
