Join us for a very special evening of Kirtan in remembrance of our friend David Newman. David, a gifted mantra/kirtan musician, left his body a few months ago due to unexpected health issues. Sincerity and warmth flowed so naturally through David's presence, his words, and his sacred music that we have all healed little pieces of ourselves with. He had a unique way of weaving sacred mantras in with inspirational lyrics and musings of the heart, and a magical way of bringing people together through his music.
David and Mira graciously created space to offer our community an intimate candlelight kirtan in our yoga shala. It is an experience that we will forever be grateful for.
We will be chanting some of our favorite mantras and heart songs of David's and donating all proceeds from this evening to his family, Tulsi and Mira. There is no cost to attend, but we hope you will consider making a generous love donation to help bring some ease and comfort to his family as they navigate their grief journey.
