We will be joining Baba Ganga Das for his regularly scheduled Friday Kirtan event, adding Buddhist chanting that will fill the room with a sense of peace. Multi-Faith chanting and prayers offer different routes to a similar end and an opportunity for all of us to celebrate diverse forms of worship and practice. If you enjoy sound healing, bhakti yoga, or Hindu and/or Buddhist prayers, this event will very much appeal to you. We are excited to share that Lea Gilmore will also join us to share a community song. We will also offer for sale mala beads and other items which supports the monks as well as the community surrounding their monastery.
5:30-6:30 with time to purchase malas and other items.
Optionally stay for 7 pm Arati in the temple.
No reservation required. By donation, cash or check made to TDGC. All supporting the Drepung Gomang monastery, more than 2000 monks & refugees.
