Kirsty is a piano playing singer/songwriter from North Tyneside. The music has a unique feel, combining ethereal folk and country sounds with strong, storytelling, political lyrics. Themes include the experiences of children and young people, domestic abuse, home, housing, inequality, and the challenges of living in a neoliberal, patriarchal society. Kirsty has created a substantial collection of work since starting out in Jan 2022 and is due to release her EP later this year. There have been live performances at various venues including Pizza Express Soho Live. Kirsty also performs at non-traditional settings in keeping with the subject matter of her music which includes her own What is Home?
