Kirris Riviere and the Delta du Bruit began a new chapter with with the release of their long-awaited album on November 10th 2023.Hailing from the earthy blues scene in Bristol, the band have evolved through the spit and sawdust school of the live blues stage in the South West.Re-grouping for their studio project, they are quickly gaining recognition for the unique tiltbrought to their soulful sound and catchy song writing.Building a reputation for their electrifying performances has excitingly followed.Led in the live arena by Kirris Riviere, (whose skill set includes the stagecraft of an accomplished theatre actor, the vocal delivery of a learned live singer and blues road man, and the songwriting of a published script writer), the band effortlessly blend their diverse musical influences into a unique and compelling sound. A soulful vocal style and dynamic stage presence have earned him a dedicated following, and he is the face and the voice of the band's success.Joining Kirris in the engine room is Evan Newman, a band leader, producer and songwriter on keys. Previously plying his trade in Jon Amor of The Hoax's band, also touring with both Eddie Martin and Wille and The Bandits, Newman's compositions form the foundation of the band's sound, in a tight collaborative process with the rest of the rhythm section; Between them, their evocative lyrics and authentic arrangements create a highly danceable and diverse presence that supporters have said sets them apart from the wider scene.Bryan Jones, a dark horse of the bass guitar, has been bringinh a deep foundation to Kirris'music for a decade, while Alastair Toms, an accomplished guitarist and director in his own right, adds his fiery but knowledgeable playing style to the mix. Together, they forge a sound that will transport listeners to a haunting swamp of Louisiana blues / R&B. Pete Warner, a live-wire on drums, keeps the band's rhythm fresh and driving, and always fills their performances with infectious energy. Warner’s skills provide the backbone to the band's popular live shows, leaving audiences wanting more every single time.Joining The Delta du Bruit on their album and occasionally on the live stage are their esteemed friends from the UK blues scene, Henry Slim (blues harp with Slimline shufflers), Joe Wilkins (lead guitarist of Elles Bailey band), Andrew Neil Hayes (Run Logan Run‘s saxophonist) and not least Jon Amor (lead guitarist from The Hoax).The release of country blues original “Left Me in the Cold (Railway Tracks)” was an exciting threshold, with the next release, “ The Delta du Bruit ''
