The Lyon College Pipe Band and President Melissa Taverner will travel to Little Rock this Sunday, April 28, as Second Presbyterian Church - the state's largest Presbyterian congregation - hosts Lyon College for a Kirkin' o' the Tartans during the 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services. The Pipe Band will perform pieces throughout the worship service, Chaplain Maggie Alsup will deliver the children's message, and President Taverner will bring a word of welcome on our shared tradition and mission.
The Pipe Band will also be joined by the Batesville Brass Society and the Second Presbyterian Choir for a performance of "Highland Cathedral." Following the late service, guests are invited to a reception hosted by Lyon College in the fellowship hall.
All are welcome.
