Have you heard of kinusaiga? It’s a style of fabric art developed in Japan in the 1980s, often referred to as “quilting without thread” or “painting with fabric”. It’s a great beginner craft, with lots of room for creativity and complexity, not to mention a great way to use up fabric scraps.
On October 8, we will be using this method to create miniature geometric barn quilts. Participants will choose from premade designs or create their own design and learn to cut, tuck, and finish their barn quilts. An option to purchase your own kit is available when you signup.
