Discover the art of repair and renewal through Kintsugi, the Japanese practice of mending broken ceramics with gold.
Join Japanese artist Mami Takahashi for an introductory hands-on workshop exploring the philosophy, history, and modern techniques of Kintsugi. Rather than hiding cracks or imperfections, Kintsugi embraces them as part of an object’s story—transforming breakage into something meaningful and beautiful.
Participants will learn beginner-friendly Kintsugi methods while repairing a ceramic piece provided during class and will take home their completed work at the end of the workshop.
