KiNSHIP CREATIVES SOCIAL

Inspired by Caroline Walker: Mothering exhibition, we have teamed up with KiNSHIP CREATIVES 🤝 for an informal gathering, inviting Artist M/others* 👩‍🎨👶 to connect through conversation, creativity, and shared experience 💛.
Join us for a relaxed introduction to the exhibition, led by Programme Curator Rebecca English and Programme Producer Bettina Wenzel, followed by an informal conversation with KiNSHIP CREATIVES💬.
Together, we’ll explore some of the themes raised by the exhibition and discuss ideas for this autumn’s KiNSHIP meet at Newlyn Art Gallery (date to be announced 📅).
KiNSHIP CREATIVES is a Cornwall-based initiative 📍 co-founded by Emily Alden and Rosanna Elliott. It brings together artist parents from all disciplines, creating opportunities for connection, conversation, and creative community during the transition into parenthood 👶 and beyond.
This free drop-in session is open to Artist M/others* 💛. Babies and children are very welcome 👶🧸.
*KiNSHIP CREATIVES defines M/others as all those who identify with “doing the work of mothering” 🌷. You don’t need to be actively making work to attend ✨. We recognise that there can be many barriers to maintaining a creative practice after becoming a parent, and this is a welcoming space to connect with others, share experiences, and explore creativity together.
