24-year-old Kai lives with his wife and young daughter in a struggling Ruhr region neighborhood, working long hours at a meat factory just to get by. His fragile routine is shattered when his older brother Mirko returns from prison demanding €10,000 Kai no longer has. Desperate to protect his family, Kai is pulled back into the criminal world — and ultimately makes a dangerous choice that puts them all at risk.
