Kink Scene Negotiation, Communication, and Planning
About this Event
Many people struggle to identify what they want, express it clearly, and communicate effectively before, during, and after intimate or emotionally charged experiences. This workshop provides a framework for understanding those challenges and building skills that apply both within and beyond kink spaces.
Instructor Andrea will share insights from her personal journey re‑entering local kink communities and developing communication strategies that support safety, consent, and self‑knowledge. The session focuses on universal principles — not any specific activity — and helps participants explore how to articulate needs, set boundaries, and reflect on experiences constructively.
You’ll learn:
- How to identify and communicate your needs and limits
- Strategies for negotiation and consent conversations
- Tools for emotional processing and aftercare reflection
- Approaches for building trust and mutual understanding
The class includes a structured lecture, Q&A, and — time permitting — group practice in negotiation scenarios. Educational materials will be available after class for personal use. All experience levels are welcome.
