Kingsley Hall Farewell Party

Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other funders, we are restoring Kingsley Hall, our Grade II* listed home in Bristol’s Old Market. The building will be transformed into a safe, welcoming, and thriving centre for young people and the local community. The new building will include:

• Welcoming, safe spaces where young people can overcome isolation, improve their mental wellbeing and create connection.
• New training spaces where young people can re-engage in education, gain qualifications and access employment opportunities in a safe, welcoming environment.
• A new social enterprise café and training kitchen for Old Market, providing delicious food and drink alongside vital work experience and skills development for young people.
• New affordable homes for young people who are ready to live independently.
• Great new spaces for hire

Our Farewell Party will give guests the opportunity to not only say goodbye to the building as we know it, but find out about the history of our building via a guided tour, have a look at plans for the development of our site, and get involved in some fun Heritage-inspired activities.

There will be light refreshments provided and the opportunity to chat with colleagues to find out more about 1625 Independent People.
