Start the summer off with a blast at this outdoor party for all ages with music, dancing, food, give-aways, and prizes! This will take place on the Rec Center grounds on the north side of the library, between the building and the tennis courts. Masks required.
There will be arts and crafts activities for kids, run by library staff as well as folks from Bartram's Garden and University City Arts League. There will be a short classes on African dance and chair yoga from Studio 34. Neighborhood Bike Works will be there to offer free bike repair advice. We'll have informative tables about resources available in the community, as well as a DJ and dancing!
The party will also kick off Summer of Wonder (AKA "Summer Reading"). Any child or teen who signs up for Summer of Wonder will get prizes and be entered into a raffle for. . . more prizes!
