KINGS OF LEON are coming back to AUSTRIA on 23rd June 2026 - don’t miss this!
Multi Grammy and BRIT Award winning band Kings of Leon will return to Austria and play on Tuesday, the 23rd June 2026 at WIENER STADTHALLE.
Recognized as one of the world's biggest alternative rock bands of the last 20 years, Kings of Leon’s rich tour history includes headlining festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading and Leeds on 3 occasions, and numerous Lollapalooza's in Berlin, Sao Paulo, Chicago and Santiago, to name but a few. Recently, they also reclaimed their all-time attendance record, with a recent 5th night at London's massive Hyde Park venue. After headlining Lido Sounds Festival 2024 in Linz, they are now coming back to Austria on 23rd June 2026 to play a headline show at Wiener Stadthalle.
Since their debut in 2003, Kings of Leon (Caleb (guitar/vocals), Nathan (drums), Jared (bass) and Matthew Followill (guitar)) have released nine albums - Youth & Young Manhood (2003), Aha Shake Heartbreak (2004), Because of the Times (2007), Only by the Night (2008), Come Around Sundown (2010), Mechanical Bull (2013), WALLS (2016), When You See Yourself (2021), 'Can we please have fun’ (2024), sold over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles worldwide. Accolades include eight Grammy award nominations, three Grammy wins, three NME Awards, two Brit Awards, and one Juno Award.
Just a few weeks ago, Kings of Leon dropped an EP with 4 new songs. Other recent releases include a ‘Live in Jersey’ single from Zach Bryan featuring Bruce Springsteen and Kings of Leon, covering the Springsteen classic “Atlantic City’, and, prior to that, a couple of new songs with Zach Bryan.
Kings of Leon's early music was a blend of Garage, Americana and Alternative Rock, with their first 3 albums leading to a devoted underground following throughout the world and platinum sales in the UK, Ireland and Australia. After the release of their fourth album, Only by the Night in September 2008, the band achieved extraordinary multi-platinum sales throughout the world. Subsequent albums yielded more platinum sales and a run of hits, fan favourites, deep cuts and headline slots at the world’s most prestigious festivals and venues.
