We are honored to welcome guest speaker Professor Martin Mongiello, MBA, MA, MCFE to the museum April 2. A Dean's List doctoral student at the John F Kennedy School of Psychology and Social Sciences at National University, Mongiello has published 15 books and has been featured in 24 others. He will be speaking on the legendary Susannah Twitty of modern day Grover, NC. At only 17 years old, Twitty became an American Revolutionary 'Shero' through her fearless leadership and tactical grit during the defense of Graham’s Fort. This session will explore her remarkable 18th-century resolve and how her local story serves as a timeless blueprint for leadership and decisive action today, by those making a difference in their communities. We invite our community to join us as we celebrate the young heroes who helped shape the American spirit. Free Admission.
