Kingman & Heritage Islands Site Walk on Education and Ecology
About this Event
The DC Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) invites you to participate in a guided site walk focused on Education and Ecology for the Kingman & Heritage Islands Trails and Amenities Design Project.
The day will begin with a guided walk through the project area, allowing participants to experience the islands' natural features firsthand while learning about existing conditions and opportunities. This site walk is part of the Pre-Design Phase of a two-year design period. Although this phase is primarily focused on sharing project background and existing community input, participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and help inform the next steps in the planning process.
Later in the afternoon, we will hold an in-person charrette on Education and Ecology. You do not need to attend both events, but you are welcome to. (See the separate Eventbrite page.)
