Tickets are $35 and include a welcome pour of Nocino, your choice of a featured Nocino cocktail and complimentary snacks.

This year, our walnuts came from our dear friends at Barberry Farm in Sewickley Heights and we think this may be the best batch yet!

We don't anticipate that this release will last long, so come help us sip and celebrate the Italian tradition of Nocino this Winter Solstice and pick up your own bottle before they’re sold out for the season.

A little background on the Nocino…

Late June tends to be the time of the year that the fruit of the walnut has its greatest fragrance, and since we share the same latitude in PA (41 degrees North), we follow the Italian tradition.

The making of this delicately sweetened walnut liqueur takes around 20 weeks in total — from midsummer harvest to final processing — which magically aligns for a perfect holiday release. The magnetism of Nocino also stems from its history. According to Italian tradition, women would climb the walnut trees barefoot to gently pick the best walnuts, being careful not to ruin the skin. There is some speculation that witchcraft played an important role in this spirit’s origin, but we’ll leave that to your own researching abilities.
