CALLING ALL RUNNERS AND WALKERS Please join us for a fun morning of Christmas celebrations featuring Kingdom of Hope’s Christmas 5k Fun Run and Kingdom Kid’s Dash
December 14, 2024. Race begins at 8 AM.
Following the run be sure to hang around for an awesome Community Christmas Celebration that’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit! We will make merry with food, music, kid’s activities and all things Christmas. Come enjoy some homemade chili and chocolate desserts. It’s guaranteed to be a fun event for all ages as we ring in the Christmas season!
The race will be held at Kingdom of Hope, 7570 15th Street Road, Concord, Alabama 35023. The 5k event starts at 8:00 AM with a cut-off time of 9:20 AM. The Kingdom Kid’s Dash (ages 4-11) begins at 9:30 AM. All dashing kids (ages 4-11) will receive finisher medals. Parents and/or Guardians dash for free with a child registrant.
Show your Christmas spirit by wearing your most festive holiday gear and jingle, jangle, joggle as we dash away, dash away, dash away all!
Registration includes a t-shirt, a swag bag and on-course refreshments. Our DJ, M.C. Fossil, will be there live and in person spinning some awesome tunes to run by!
And if that isn’t enough - your registration will be supporting some great causes! Registration fees and donations will support the church, community outreach efforts, and Ministry Missions in Mexico that are working to assist deaf and underprivileged individuals in impoverished regions of Mexico. Let's help them to continue spreading the good news of the gospel and supplying aid to those in need.

Kids Dash entry fee is $10.00 through December 13, 2024

The course is a flat and fast out and back loop on a small, picturesque community road and will be closed and monitored by law enforcement. A big thank you to our awesome Jefferson County Sheriff's Department who work hard to keep our community and citizens safe!
Pets at the Race:
Pets are welcome to participate. All pets must be on a leash. Please clean up after your pet. The actions of the pet are the responsibility of the pet owner/caretaker.
Strollers at the Race:
We allow strollers at the 5k event. If you are participating with a stroller and/or children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times. For the child's safety, we ask that during the 5k, the child stays in the stroller until crossing the finish line. Strollers are not allowed to participate in the kids dash event.
THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT. NO REFUNDS. All race entries are non-transferable and non-refundable. The event will occur rain or shine, hot or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, there will be no refunds. Entry fees will be considered a donation to Kingdom of Hope and their supported Ministry Missions in Mexico.
Awards will be presented immediately following the Kingdom Kids Dash. Prizes will be presented to the overall top male finisher and the overall top female finisher. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finisher medals will be awarded in male and female categories for age groups: 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and above. Overall and age group awards will not be duplicated.
