Inspired by the people, events and festivities of K Road, Mark and Freddy have created a series of paintings paying tribute to the every day scenes of k road, showcasing their stories, the unique characteristics, community, humanity and feelings of escapism in k road. Looking at how the nightlife can transform us. The title Kingdom Come, is taken from the satirical play on religious imagery. Transforming K Roads sense of festivity, boldness and community into apocalyptic scenes. Looking every day how ideas of heaven and hell are really found through us here on earth.
