Kinga Głyk is a bassist and composer with a distinctive funk-driven sound. Also, she has quickly become one of the most compelling voices of the new jazz generation. She has released five original albums: Rejestracja, Happy Birthday, Dream, Feelings and Real Life. An artist rooted in improvisation, she blends jazz with a modern, electronic groove. Moreover, she has performed on many notable European stages, including the North Sea Jazz Festival. Additionally, she has played Blue Note Rio de Janeiro, all the way to the islands of Japan and Expo Osaka. Kinga is inspired by sounds and people who don’t always speak the same language. However, as she says herself: “Music can be interesting and powerful enough to move the heart, even if there are no words.”Her track “Joy Joy” has amassed over 1.5 million views on YouTube.
