King Yellowman & The Sagittarius Band

The Nevada County reggae community shudders with anticipation in knowing that the “rudest dancehall toaster of the 80’s, Jamaica’s albino son” - King Yellowman himself – will be making his second appearance at the Crazy Horse Saloon! His show here last October was the most talked about event of the year with fans in disbelief to actually have the opportunity to see this legend in such an intimate venue.

Now in his mid-60s, he’s still as lean and mean as ever. His passion for performing illuminates an aura around him. When he drops classics like “Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt,” “ZungguZungguguzungguzeng” and “Bam Bam,” it takes you right back to those moments so long ago, first being captivated by his music. He has too many hits to mention and for many of us these songs have been anthems throughout our lives. The Sagittarius Band is full of killers, bringing the tightest, hammer strike to every beat. How lucky are we?
