Attend the 17th annual King Neptune Gala to benefit The Tall Ship of Delaware and the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation’s education programs for school children and students of all ages. The Gala is a festive evening held under the stars and tents at the Tatiana & Gerret Copeland Maritime Center with a dockside cocktail reception, live calypso music, a silent auction with mobile bidding, dinner with delicious food stations, live auction, special guest speakers, and open bar.
The Silent Auction opens on Wednesday, September 18 at 5:00pm with priceless crew-made pieces, exciting experiences, themed baskets, and more. Access to mobile bidding is free and open to anyone, anywhere!

The Kalmar Nyckel Foundation (KNF) is a non-profit educational organization that preserves and promotes the cultural and maritime heritage of Delaware and the Delaware Valley. Your donations support our education programs and operations of our ship and foundation. We are an active 501(c)(3) organization, that reached 35,000 people in 2023 with hands-on history and unique learning opportunities. Through our small staff and 200+ volunteers, we offer educational field trips, in-school programs, free community events and outreach, public sails, and private events.
