We are doing King Lear.
Its gonna be bloody.
Its gonna be dark.
Its gonna be sexy.
And its gonna be funny.
Yes funny.
Why this play now?
We are living in a world where our choices seem to lead us to dark places.
We are in a world of generational change. The consequences of the decisions of our leaders, parents, and previous generations have turned us against each other, even when we start as a united front. Sometimes all we want to do is react with revenge. When we do that we lose sight of grace and a world we actually want to live in. When these characters deny their past it gouges their eyes out. When these characters own up to their mistakes, grace temporarily fills the world. Join us as we explore how dark it can get and reveal the humor and grace in the darkness.
