The performance is a contemporary cabaret and physical theatre performance inspired by Shakespeare’s King Lear, exploring old age, the collapse of reason, and the absurdity of power that continues after consciousness begins to fade. Through music, movement, repetition and grotesque transformation, Shakespeare’s tragedy dissolves into a dark farce where cruelty and humour, laughter and despair coexist. Highly visual and performed in English, the piece asks what remains when reason disappears — and whether absurdity may become the mind’s final shelter. Director: Valeria Dimitrovа Choreographer: Erol Alexander THE PROJECT IS IMPLEMENTED WITH THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE.
